Colour Adventures!

I've found this practice super helpful time and again - both for practical purposes, to learn about my paints and improve my brush control, and for more mindful purposes, to get a break from my busy brain and access my creativity.
This was one of the first pieces I created both as one of these exercises (Values) and then something it inspired me to do (add the gold touches and the girl with her bunny on top):
These are the pieces I created as part of filming this class - firstly the Values and Hues exercises:
Next the first two Patterns exercises (I particularly love this spread
And lastly the palette combination rainbows - after I made that piece I went on to paint the colourful vines / Xmas lights next to it which I find so jolly:
I made another piece by combining a page I made using the Values activity, with the first patterns exercise added on top later which I really like too (you can see a postcard of my 'Owl Mother' piece in the upper right):
These are exercises I come back to time and again - I use the values one to swatch my paints these days!
I hope you find them as valuable as I do
