Colorful Trees Landscape

Painting loosely is always more challenging for me, but I enjoyed this project and tried to keep it loose by not fussing over brush strokes once they were down on the paper. I worked in my sketchbook and did a two page spread. I started my underpainting and sketch in acrylic gouache, and finished it with traditional ShinHan gouache.  I'm really loving the end result, the way the underpainting peaks through and the vibrant colors.

I woke up this morning and decided to make a few adjustments on this one. I added a little more color variety to the trees and went over the sky once more, and a brought some purples into the shadows. I think I'm happier with it now. Here's my revised one followed by the first uploaded one.
