Always so happy to follow your classes Barbara !

Especially when it comes to coffee - I looove coffee !! We have 5 different coffee machines at home ^^ 

I start with two little coffee cups, they are black and White in reality but I wanted some pastel colors this morning. I used a bit of Moonglow by Daniel Smith in the shadow because I am in love with this color. 
I'll make the whole class on this rough paper by Arches, not easy to draw on rough paper but I love it. 

By popular demand, this is one of my coffee machine ! It's a V60 for slow coffee. I looove this one. And I was very intimidated by it, I thought it would be so hard to draw and it is but you motivated me Barbara and I am happy with the result ! Very hard to work on the transparency of the bottom pot but I like the general result. 

Well, after being very sick for a few days, I am back to the challenge ^^ with my favorite coffee mug 😍 a beauty I bought a few weeks ago, it was love at first sight !! Not easy to draw though, but I will paint it a lot of times I think ! 

Soooo I am really behind in the challenge 😅 Sickness after sickness at home, it was really complicated to find the time or the energy. But in the meantime we adopted our 6th coffee maker !! This cute Bialetti. So I had to paint it quickly ! 

Aaaand done ! The 5 days challenge is clearly an epic fail ^^ but January is an extremely challenging month ... I can't believe it's not even done yet. Anyway, this is my last painting and not the prettiest but I love that mug - difficult shape as it's like a book ! Difficult to deal with the shadows. 
Thank you Barbara because your challenge helped me to think about my sketchbook even when life gets absolutely insane.
