Clothe Wringer

This is a vintage clothes wringer, also known as a mangle, it was traditionally used before electric washing machines became common after washing clothes by hand, people would feed wet garments between the two rollers and turn the hand crank to squeeze out excess water. The device is mounted on a wooden cabinet, which likely served as a base and storage unit. Its rusted metal and peeling paint suggest it’s been retired for decades, now more of a relic than a tool.
