I'm pleased with how many layers I was able to add here, though I probably could have dispersed them more evenly, rather than just piling on color in the darkest areas. I found out the hard way how few browns were in my Prismacolor set while working on this piece and had to employ some deep reds and light oranges. (I think this was a blessing in disguise, though, as the variation in hue actually went a long way toward lending dimension to the piece!)
