This is a truly beautiful piece, Lil. Your sensitive and careful treatment of all the different textures and blend types are really well done. I would be very surprised if this was your first charcoal. I don’t even really have much feedback for you.  The one thing you could do if you wanted to is to sharpen up the edges of the rocks just a bit. You can do this by very slightly exaggerating the dark of the sand and using the very edge of your finger to blend it right up next to the rock edges.  That being said, your slightly softer edges lend an ethereal quality to the piece that I actually really enjoy. If I were you, I don’t know that I would change it. But I am just reaching for something to offer you.  Either way, very well done and congratulations on a beautiful piece. Thank you so much for taking my class and for also taking the time to share your beautiful work and to review the class. I really appreciate it!
