When I started conceptualizing this course, I tried out different things, including freestyle and abstract drawings, but these leaf prints were the breakthrough that really got me excited about this class. I found this beautiful, rather large leaf somewhere in the city and could never remember where or find it again. But now I have preserved it forever in these prints. And that's really nice – because once you've captured something like that through a creative process, it stays in your memory.
