Thanks for a great class Cé!

I definitely need to work on my character illustration skills and practice using Procreate, but these were my first attempts.

Following along with the class:

A quick sketch (that definitely needed more refining) that I then practiced on in Procreate:

Hopefully with more drawing practice, my illustration skills can land somewhere between this one and the version above it!

Update:

I attempted doing a better drawing of this by tracing the lines and then drawing it on paper:

Unhappy with the top left, I did a quick version and brought that into Procreate to colour.

(In hindsight, I should have used the top left image, but felt it was too similar to the photo reference version and preferred the former):

I didn’t like the new head, so replaced it with my more stylised original:
