For this project, I focused on creating dynamic and expressive characters based on gestures and simple shapes. The goal was to design energetic kids aged 5 to 7, capturing their lively personalities and playful energy through bold poses and exaggerated proportions.

 

Each character started with a gesture sketch to establish movement and personality, followed by shape exploration to build unique silhouettes. From the adventurous kid pulling a wagon to the confident one rocking a beanie, each design emphasizes how gestures and shapes bring characters to life.

 

This exercise helped me refine the balance between structure and fluidity in character design while maintaining an engaging and fun style.
