I love to draw cats. This class is so informative to draw the same animal in different poses. It helped me a lot. I did not start my project with Hello Kitty, but (sorry!) Nijntje (The original Dutch name of Mifty is Nijntje!). I draw a few Nijntjes without tracing. Just watching and correcting forms. I had to define what made Nijntje a real Nijntje! For a real Nijntje it is necessary to  have the right proportions and forms. A Nijntje looks so easy, but to draw a real Nijntje is no that easy. I read that Dick Bruna, the creator of Nijntje spent hours before finishing one of his 'simple' drawings! Now I understand!

I draw for another cat project two Siamees cats, for this project I tried to draw the same cat in different poses: And I also recycled another cartoon cat, used for another project.After this class, I will try to draw animals in different poses and not only cats!
