When I received an email from Skillshare highlighting Laura's class - I was hooked by the colours and the fun elements that made Laura's postcard so incredible and decided it would be fun to give it a go. It's a lot harder than it looks but its nice to spend time away from the screens and do something different too. 

I had just arrived home from camping in the Brecon Beacons and as it was so fresh in my mind, I decided to create a night scene from the weekend.

I am not an illustrator and I am in fact quite terrible at it so looked for images and tried to understand how to create the shadows as that is what really brings the image to life. It was a very fun and (paper messy) project that I enjoyed doing :)
