Here's my first cactus:

And here's my attempt at a half-drop repeat:

There are a few fracture lines visible that disappear or move when zooming in and out, but there's one horizontal line that stays put, through the 1st cactus' pot. Not quite sure what's causing this. The background tile is aligned to pixel grid and no amount of fiddling on my part has been able to fix it. As this is just a practice I'm not going to spend any longer on it, but it's really bugging me! 

I'm tempted to practice using a diagonal gradient or maybe a pattern fill on the window panes to give them more depth/a reflective look.
