Building a Mandala from Scratch
I made one mandala for the class project, starting completely from scratch with the techniques taught: setting up a precise grid, constructing the pattern with basic shapes, and carefully refining each layer to create balance and symmetry.
For the first stage, I built the design using three basic shapes: the half-rounded petal, the triangle, and the hexagon.
I then experimented with different color palettes to see how each choice transformed the mood and energy of the final design.
I learned how the combination of structured geometry and color exploration can turn simple lines into a harmonious, finely detailed pattern.
Thank you for the class and the guidance; it was rewarding to experience the full process of creating a mandala from zero.
