Thanks, Diana. The veins on the leaves are where I added another layer. This is supposed to be an alla prima painting, but I couldn't help going back in and adding color and texture.

It’s one of my favorite flowers. This was a simple painting and perfect for beginners. I had to keep myself from fiddling with it more.
