Claudia, this class was amazing, thank you so much!! I so enjoyed it! As someone who typically paints watercolor, in fairly restrained compositions (using a ruler, etc.), cutting loose with gouache, a less refined drawing, and mixed media (in my case colored pencils and white ink) was a real blast! Not to mention I don't normally go this crazy with color. Can't wait to check out the other classes. Would love any feedback folks have! Some things I think I would change is to make the plant bigger and I can't figure out how to add more details. Also my color mixing with gouache is super beginner and that was one of the hardest parts of this project.

For my project I chose items of meaning to me: my ukulele/music, painting, the idea of home, plants, some favorite books, and my heart necklace.

Here is one of my reference photos, the warmup exercises (drawing ukuleles is harder than I expected), and the base layer before I added details, and the final project! I hope I did Casamiro proud!
