Oh wow! He's fabulous Bianca. I'm so glad to see him and read the accompanying haiku. Maybe it due to the photo but I think you may have gone too dark with the turquoise. Lovely flow overall though and I love the addition of the dragonfly.

The light-dark contrasts are displayed correct. So, in some places it was actually too dark. I've tried to lift some paint, mainly at the belly, the beak, and the eye (see update), so that the focus will more goes to the eye like you mentioned in your video. It's amazing what works with watercolor even afterwards, limited though. Thank you for your kind, and constructive comment.

First, a big thank you to Aniruddha. As always, your course was very enjoyable and relaxing. :)
Different from what the name "bee-eater" might suggest, they eat any types of insects, of course. Taking this into account, I've combined the reference photo with a dragon fly.
