I’ve taken a few classes on Affinity and felt hopeful about exploring vectors using just my iPad, but to be honest, they were all overwhelming and I don’t think I even submitted my projects. This class, however, is the perfect intro! Because I’ve taken other classes, this was almost like a refresher, except better. She really focused on teaching the foundations and gave helpful tips, like gestures which were mind blowing and new to me! I didn’t know about duplicating like Weronika taught, and feel like I can use Affinity more efficiently now. Here’s my follow along like she taught in the class…

Then I tried recreating (sort of) a project I did recently on Procreate, but in Affinity…

It’s the first thing I’ve created in Affinity that I actually like! It’s not perfect, but it’s good enough to give me the confidence to keep using it. 

Really hoping Weronika posts a new Affinity class soon so I can keep up with the momentum! :) 

I imported it into Procreate to write in what I used to create the shapes and textures.
