Thanks so much for sharing this Lia! It's so cool to see your before and after versions. Although it was already cute to begin with, you've managed to refine the piece into a more clean and polished composition. The lettering takes center stage now and the embellishments feel more intentional. How do you personally feel about the glow up? I hope you had fun with this class project :)

I had stepped away from lettering for almost a year, so this experience truly felt like coming home. I was afraid I had lost the flow, but it came back gently and naturally. It reminded me that even when we pause, the skill stays with us. I’m really grateful for the guidance and inspiration.

This is the before piece I’m currently working on while rebuilding my portfolio and refreshing my lettering skills
