The Beatsteaks, a german  (punk) rock band from Berlin, formed in 1995, are famous for their intense Live performances. The Lead singer has had  musical side projects as a DJ and the Beatsteaks progressed through the years implementing unlike punky musical elements in their songs. They are fun but also political and are able to draw in their audience at Live Shows.

So the Vinyl record stands obviously for "Beat" but also reflects the progressions the band has made. The "Steak" on top of it is completing the name of the band, but simultaneously reflects the raw vibe of the Beatsteaks.
The skeleton is an OG Graphic Element in the punk scene, but it is a rather fun one, reflecting the excitement of fans that the band will be on tour again

I've chosen a simple Grid System for this gig poster with a relatively good amount of free space. The viewers attention is supposed to go to the band name in the center. The "Laser Beam Eyes" of the skeleton are meant to increase the hierarchy and to make the graphic less busy I implemented the gig dates in them. 

I sort of feel like a Sommelier who is trying to describe a really good wine and that's making me feel kind of odd.
