Well done Mira. You have done a great job with these patterns and applying them to your buildings. Thank you for posting your project.  Now, as to your question. If you're using a mask or a warp you can make the project using a smart object. However, it won't work with the vanishing point filter because of the way we're pasting the pattern into the vanishing point filter.  If you wanted to not use the vanishing point filter you could warp the pattern layer and then use a mask to mask it onto the building and then you could do it with a smart object. I hope this makes sense, let me know if you have more questions?
