BAD ATTITUDES PODCAST CELEBRATES 100 EPISODES OF BEING UNINSPIRING

CHARLOTTE-BASED DISABILITY PODCAST REACHES MILESTONE

 

(Charlotte, NC, February 1, 2024) — Bad Attitudes: An Uninspiring Podcast About Disability, a disability-centric podcast hosted and produced by Charlotte native Laura Stinson, is preparing to drop its 100th episode on [DATE TBD]. The episode is sure to contain plenty of Stinson’s signature sarcastic humor, while educating and enlightening her listeners about the disability community.

 

“My aim with Bad Attitudes has always been to educate listeners about disability while avoiding being the stereotypical ‘inspiring disabled person.’ I prefer to be an UNinspiring disabled person,” Stinson says.

 

Over the past three and a half years, Stinson has released bite-size weekly episodes on a variety of topics from inspiration porn to the language around disability to pop culture and beyond. In September 2023, Stinson was invited to present a TEDx Talk at Wingate University, her alma mater, on ways to be a better ally to the disabled community.
