Hi, thank you for this great class. I learned a lot.

I wanted to show you what I did for my class assigment.

I first had my pencil sketch, I'm working on a series of drawings that center "babes against lookism".

I had a little trouble importing the clean outlines into PS since my pencil sketch was very light. i had to darken it a little to get PS to even recognize the lines as such. and even after I succseeded they were very transparent and hard to work with. I might try to darken my original pencil sketch before scanning it, maybe that was the problem. So for this one i just went along with the now quite grungy looking outlines and made it a feature not a flaw ;)

I addes basic colors

and highlights/shadows

and finally addes a background and a textto go with the rest of the series

and that was it! i had a lot of fun, thank you very much for the tutorial :)
