The picture and the tittle above, symbolises one of my favourite story of all time that change the nature of man towards adversity, the story always keeps me motivated. https://www.google.com/search?q=the+story+behind+BURN+THE+SHIP+alexander+the+great&sca_esv=608d6234066b0d5b&biw=1366&bih=599&sxsrf=ANbL-n7jBGO4GIGj6qf-jHHjB9j6OFc7eg%3A1773663042273&ei=QvO3aZGyEIakqtsPg_u22AU&ved=0ahUKEwiR29fcsaSTAxUGkmoFHYO9DVsQ4dUDCBE&uact=5&oq=the+story+behind+BURN+THE+SHIP+alexander+the+great&gs_lp=Egxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAiMnRoZSBzdG9yeSBiZWhpbmQgQlVSTiBUSEUgU0hJUCBhbGV4YW5kZXIgdGhlIGdyZWF0MgUQIRigAUiuYFCwHVjJW3ABeAGQAQCYAfoCoAGkNaoBBjItMS4xObgBA8gBAPgBAZgCFaACwjbCAgoQABiwAxjWBBhHwgIOEAAYsAMY5AIY1gTYAQHCAhcQLhiwAxi4BhjYAhjIAxjaBhjcBtgBAcICBhAAGBYYHsICCxAAGIAEGIYDGIoFwgIFEAAY7wXCAgQQIRgVwgIHECEYoAEYCsICBRAhGJ8FmAMAiAYBkAYOugYGCAEQARgJkgcGMS4zLTIwoAelRbIHBDMtMjC4B7Y2wgcIMC42LjEzLjLIB1aACAA&sclient=gws-wiz-serp

According to the above source, in 334bc , Alexander the Great upon landing in Asia to fight the Persian Empire, he commanded his men to burn all the boat as a symbol of no retreat, despite being out numbered by the parsian army Alexander the Great ordered the boat be burnt, History has it that Alexander the Great became victorous over the persian army, not because of his courage with his men nor for his strength but for his determination not to retreat even amist all odd, there wasnt a plan B neither a safty plan if all go south, they fought with all their strength knowing fully well either they win or die.
