This page in my sketchbook is the result of the Blobs exercise. I'd taken a course with a similar project and have continued to makes shapes, faces, and creatures. I love how freeing it is, and I love some of these characters very much.

I, too, love the art of Jetpacks & Rollerskates, and was happy to hear an idea created by them that I've been practicing since before I encountered their art. I put little scraps of paper in this little claw machine toy. Doing this makes the choosing of the prompt a sort of low-stakes game in itself (even if our cat Bucky wasn't impressed). I choose 2-3 and combine them. The last time I did this, the result was Durian + UFO + Taro.
