Business Administrative Professional Class Reflection

 

This course taught me the importance of time management and that an organized workspace should prioritize functionality over appearance. I learned that having knowledge beyond the job description, being a good communicator, using helpful tools, and building strong habits are all key to succeeding in an administrative role. I’d love to see a future class focused on habit-building and how first-timers can navigate their first days on the job. I once stepped into a role where the previous assistant left things in chaos, and I had to manage present tasks while cleaning up the past. It was overwhelming, but this course helped me overcome those fears and gave me the confidence to use this role as a stepping stone in my business career.
