Characters in Motion (NTSC): Bewegung in Abbildungen erfassen

Hi people. For this latest design I started with circle and oval shapes to anchor the gesture for the character. I chose the 3/4 turn angle because that's the first turn they use at most major aniamtion studios when developing characters for a project. My influences a vast from many sources but mostly different attributes from well known villians but I make sure to not copy other properties in the design. As for originality I just keep an open mind of throwing different aspects just to see what comes from it. You'll be surprised what will work. Hope you like it and I look forward to posting more work.

Nice work Michael, your sketches are looking great. Maybe try and work on cleaning up your line work. It's fine like this but I think you'll get a lot more out of your art if the lines were solid. Keep up the great work!

Wow very nice man, absolutely love the style! the poses and linework is phenominal, and I especially like the simple but exaggerated body volumes/shapes. All of it comes together for a really unique style, cannot wait to see what else you come up with!

Thanks! That's quite a compliment but although I have my style set what I'm learning from Patrick is how to simplify and better detail my process to maximize my results to his level.

Thanks! Bruce Timm and WB animation is definitely an influence. I've even gotten compliments from Warner artists who have worked on my favorite shows!
