Hi Colleayn! Thank you so much for taking my class and sharing your project. I love how you showed us each stage and let us see not only the finished piece but the process as well. Overall, you've done a great job. The proportions for your Basic Form and Big Shapes are both right on, with just a couple tiny tweaks. Once we get down to some of the smaller shapes and details, there are a few areas that could be changed to achieve greater proportionality and realism. I'm including a photo to illustrate some of the points. <ol><li>The biggest challenge with this piece right now are the ellipses (the curves and circles). In the paint bottle, the bottom ellipse should likely have a much sharper upward angle. The top ellipse is closer to being right, but it still may need to be a bit taller from top to bottom.</li> <li>Since the paint bottle is a cylinder, all of the lines on the label should follow the same curves, which are shallower towards the top of the bottle, and deeper towards the bottom. Right now, the curve of the "Golden" lettering feels a bit too flat, and doesn't follow the ellipse of the bottle. It should curve up at a sharper angle on either side, as should the smaller lettering, and even the little squiggly lines. All of this will help to emphasize the form and proportions of the cylinder.</li> <li>The ellipsis on the cap may need a bit of tweaking as well. Overall, the cap may need to be a bit larger -- specifically the top portion may need to increase in size and have a softer tilt so that we feel like we're seeing more of the top of the cap and that the bottom of the cap is moving away from us.</li> <li>Overall, the paint tube feels very close to me. The biggest issue I see is that the line indicating the bottom edge of the tube may need to come down a bit to increase the sense of foreshortening (the tube angling away from us).</li> <li>The cap of the tube could use a little attention -- to me it looks like we might be able to see the bottom plane of the cap, and that the cap is maybe a bit closer in to the tube.</li> <li>The lines on the tube may need to be tweaked so that they follow the form of the tube more closely. <img src="https://static.skillshare.com/uploads/parentClasses/c4ccd980d7cb7a26a2b7d360097c7c43/cc054fd0" class="zoomable rounded-image-wrapper" alt="cc054fd0" /></li> </ol>Again, overall you've done great work, and really observed the big, foundational relationships well. This is the most important part, so you should give yourself a pat on the back for sure! Making some of these changes will really take your piece to the next level! Well done!! Kendyll

Kendyll,  Thank you so much for this great feedback!  It really helps me to see what needs to be changed by you drawing over the art I did.  Thank you for that and your written assessment.  It is funny how I can look at something and know things are off, but couldn't quite "see" it.  But your help puts it right into perspective.  I'll keep practicing.  I will do your other classes, especially the shading.  I have a hard time with that.
