Reference photo

 I experimented by starting the painting with a pink background, adding the blue layers on top gradually. This was done on quite a small scale in my sketchbook. I just wanted to see what would happen and tested out the colour mixing. Still deciding if I want to try it again a bit bigger with the same technique.

The paints I used were Mont Marte Signature and Iris Primeart - I actually have no idea if these are good quality student grade paints? They were the only ones that fit my budget.
