Really enjoyed this class. I have an illness that physically damages my heart and so the theme appealed to me and it turned out hearts are a shape I really enjoy painting. I used some pigment powder for the silver and the gold. I painted some medium over the stencil and then dusted them. It went everywhere and these both sparkle a little, all over, in the right light. I've gotten lots of art supplies via estate sales and the pigment powders were from a professional artist who had passed. The tote they were in was labeled "gold" and was $10. Much of it is still a mystery to me and I suspect the liquid leaf would have worked for this but smelled so toxic I went with the powders and used them outside.
