Foolishly took the long way around on this. Tore paper. Painted each piece individually. Took time but gave satisfaction by the time I got it dried and flattened out.

Never was a huge fan of tissue paper. After this, I was not won over, but I'm ok with how colors balanced out with some bright and some deeper hues. Should have worn gloves.

In the middle of this, I went back to look at the lesson for the 3rd collage class. I used some paper that was lying around, because the old construction paper hade dulled greatly over time. Color adjust didn't work too well for this piece. I had fun making this. It felt more purposeful/less random. This is more vibrtant than the photo looks, even though I tried a second image adjustment after I posted the first onel. I may go back to use some colored pencil in the area with the turtoles, shells and seahorses.

Another inspiring class, Elisabeth. All looked easy, but in reality took three days, one collage per day. Given the foundations you laid for the work and the challenges, I am glad I invested in it. Thanks much!
