I think of all the flowers the black eyed Susan was my favourite to paint. I used reference photos from Unsplash.

I painted them all in one sitting so by the time I got to the tea roses I was tired, but it was my only quiet time where I can concentrate uninterrupted. I switched paper to see the difference and I much preferred my sketch book over the Canson watercolour paper, as my sketch book has some level of cotton I believe, but not 100%. 

I incorporated fine liner which I find brings some detail to watercolour loose florals.
