This project used some of the skills from Aaron Draplin's "Crusty Techniques" class. Specifically:

 

- Taking an image and reducing it to half-tone pattern

- Manually painting in the color behind the skulls, and letting "imperfections" creep in with the halftone/paint overlap

- Some blurring / sharpening / filtering

- Using distressed textures
