I attempted to modify this version to simplify it.  I mixed colors out of 3 main paint colors (ultramrine blue, Aussie gold, and Burnt Sienna).   I also lessened the details of the building on the right side... this happened after I got a little lost after I laid the firt layer of paint.  Aftre I realized that it deviated by quite a lot from Will's version, I just went along with it and tried to make something out of the structure.     On the left side, I lifted some color from the blue building, and to me it should of has an effect that made it look like some of the reflection of the gold building is showing on the blue building. 

This painting is not done yet, I would like some suggestions on how I should best finish  the left side buidling. Maybe I can use white gouache to draw the while diagonal lines like Will did.     Will, please share some tips and suggestions where I can still make this a lively and sunny-looking painting like your version. thanks!
