100 watercolor splashes and pen and ink drawings

This workshop inspired me to start a little daily drawing practice with pen and ink. I like to work from life and have fun looking around me for smaller items. For some objects I did an underdrawing or simply some marks with pencil, but generally I like the result better when I go in directly with ink, even if the results look more imperfect.
Splashes 91-100: Here come the last 10 images of my little project. It was a very calming activity for me in a busy time. I'll try to bind my drawings in two little books. If I am succesful I'll post some photos.
splashes 81 - 90 I learnt from my small project that smoother paper would have worked better with my pen. So next time I'll use hot pressed watercolor paper. For now I got used to my cold pressed paper and don't mind if my pen picks up a cotton fiber from time to time. I like the scratchy noise of my pen too!
splashes 63, 64 as well as 73-80: So far it wasn't difficult for me to find something to draw. I am confident that the next day I'll come up with a new idea. Some things are meaningful to me and looking at my drawings makes the day come alive on which I did them.
splashes 65-72 - oops! 63 and 64 are missing! I'll post them next week. I am so glad that in spite of a little hand surgery I was able to keep up this little practice which is so soothing!
Splashes 49-64: Most of these drawings were made during my holidays in Corsica. So from image 51 to 64 my Gansai tambi watercolors were replaced by my Schmincke, Winsor and Newton and Daniel Smith colors I had selected for my travel. I sketched mostly items from nature which I collected during my days on the isle.
Splashes 41-48: Some fun moments in an otherwise stressful week!
Splashes 33 - 40 My weekly splashes: On some days I make a few cards, on other days none, but by the end of the week I generally have 8 finished ones!
Splashes 25-32
Timidly trying to give my drawings a bit more dimension by adding marks, hatching, stipling... a busy week, but I managed to squeeze in some creativity, which makes me happy. (The colors turned out a bit pale on this photo!)
Splashes 17 - 24: The week-end was rather calm, so I took advantage to work a bit on my project. I notice that some of my drawings need a bit more contrast. Some hatching would do them good. Some need darker colors too around the bottom part.
Splashes 9 - 16: These are already glued together 2 by 2. I plan to bind my finished project into a coptic book with single pages!
Here are my drawings 1 to 8! Will I manage to do 100 ones? I tore up a large watercolor sheet..... I'll post more .... hopefully....
