„Fridolin: Beyond the Pond„
For my final adventure illustration, I wanted to create something softer and more playful.
While creating my moodboard, I came across a little frog character standing in a rain puddle, and I immediately thought it looked so sweet and happy. That made me wonder: what kind of adventure would a frog go on? From there, the idea of a little frog climbing mountains came to life.
I focused on simple shapes, soft textures, warm colors, and a calm storybook feeling. I hesitated a little before sharing it, because my result felt completely different from the tutor’s example and also quite different from many of the other students’ projects.
But I reminded myself that finding your own style also means allowing your work to look different. So I decided to share it anyway.
