How I started & My Background

In 2010, I started my e-commerce journey. At that time, I used to source products in Alibaba and bring them to Greece then resell them through eBay.In 2012 I started my dropshipping journey in which I made more than 7 figures in sales all these years. In the meantime, in 2017, I started a VA company that helped more than 2000 customers to increase their eBay sales, but guess what....we went bankrupt when eBay decided that dropshipping is not a business model their sellers want to follow and started banning everyone.I had more than 30 in-house employees at that time and the process of firing them was very stressful and disappointing.

Fast-forward, in 2019 I started from 0 and I knew Print On Demand would be the next hit.I started with Etsy where I had more than 10 successful stores with more than 6 figures in sales.In 2021 I decided to create POD Frenzy. This project helps Print On Demand sellers increase their sales by providing them with high-quality Print On Demand designs and tools. Is that alone enough? No is the short answer. It takes dedication and patience.

1. Introduction: Hello and welcome to build inferences basic Shopify print on-demand course. My name is George myositis and I'm the CEO of BOD friends. In this course, we will start from 0. So even if you are a newbie, it doesn't really matter because we learn how to buy our first domain name. How to create our Shopify store, helped create pages, how to create products, everything, mockups, design, editing. And also we'll learn how to make our first sale through Facebook. Everything from a to Z. In order to run your SAP if I print on-demand business lesson was created in 2021. So it's totally updated and it has more than two hours worth of lessons. I'm super glad to have you on board and without an affiliate deal. And let's dive into the course. 2. Mind Set: Hello. Before we even get started, I would like to mention a few things about the mindset that you need to have in order to start your print on demand journey. This is not a get rich quick scheme. I know a lot of influencers, VAT, so Lamborghini or seven figure sales within two months. But trust me, this is not real. In print on demand. You need to have patients. If you want your business to be as solid as a rock, it takes time to build your brand and your audience. I would also like to mention that a minimum of $200 of investment is required. And this is because you need to buy a domain name. You need to buy a Shopify subscription. And then you need to run some advertisement. Yes, you can start, let's say, with $50 of investment, but it won't give you enough room to run properly your Facebook advertisement. And finally, trust us, we are doing this for more than 10 years with seven figure results in different marketplaces like eBay, Etsy, and Shopify. And we know exactly how to build a successful Shopify store. So without any further ado, let's dive into our first lesson. 3. Lesson 1 Introduction: Hello, Welcome to our first lesson. In this lesson, we'll discuss about nieces. So we'll start by identifying what is a general Nice store or a subunit store, or even in combination of both of them. And then we'll move to miss results. So without any further ado, let's get into our first lesson. 4. Lesson 1-1 General Store VS Niche Store: Hello and welcome back. Before we even start building our Shopify store, we need to discuss about niche stores or general stores. Because you need to decide whether you want one general store like a Walmart, which cell, say different products and different product categories. Or you want a nice store which has more passionate buyers. For sure it has less traffic without any further ado. Let's see advantages and disadvantages of each store. Let's start by understanding what is a simple nice store. For example, a simple nice store. It can sell products for a dog owners. As I mentioned here, a simple nice store. The suitable for beginners, which they want to test different subnet pieces inside their store. You may have stores that sell products for dog owners, but for different breeds. Now, you may want to create a subunit store. For example. You may want to create a store only dedicated to bulldogs. So as I mentioned here, suddenly store. It should approve for more narrow, passionate audiences, but they normally get fewer traffic than simple, nice stores. And lastly, you can create the store, which is a combination of different nieces and subnet. For example, you can target bag owners, but they also must like the coffee cappuccinos. As I mentioned here, the combination of different nieces and sadnesses is useful if you want to narrow your target audience even more. This audience is the most passionate, but it's really, really small. Let's see some examples. Here. You can see a design that is suitable for a nice store. This design can be used for a sub nice store, for example, bug owners. And here is a design that it can be used for a combination of nieces store, for example, the owners, which they also love coffee. Let's see what are the advantages and disadvantages of a general store versus a nice. With a general store, you can test different nieces. For example, you may have a store that sells product for pet owners in general. And desk, different nieces like dogs like where, bags like breeds, iguanas, like lizards. You can test everything. General stores get more traffic. And they get this traffic organically because you target a very broad audience. Nice stores from the other hand, they've got way more passionate audiences. For example, if you have a store which is dedicated to French Bulldogs, their owners are way more passionate for their dogs. And lastly, nice stores get the returning customers. You can retarget them with your Facebook pixel, which we will discuss in a later video. Or you can upsell them different product categories. So for example, he may buy a t-shirt with a quote about his friends Bulldog, but also you can upsell him. Monk. What is my opinion? Because you will ask me, George, What should I do? So my opinion is to start with a Xamarin store and test different ideas. And once you find the perfect audience for you, convert your nice store by changing your products and the feel of your website. It's simple as that. So start with a general store, for example, for pets. In general, there's different designs about bags, about the French bulldog, about cats. And once you start to have some sales, you can best more designs from that nice. And then once you see that, for example, the Persian cat nice convert, well for you, you should change all your website and sell only these designs. That's all for now. In this video, we are going to discuss about Miss recent. This is one of the things you need to do before you even start yourself. So I will show you how we did it in the old way and how we do it. Now with DOD frenzy, we would start with Google trends. So for example, you've got an idea, type artery, for example, here to worldwide. And you'd say over the year, How much interest changes? Generally speaking, you can see here that in the United States, this interest is 100%, so it's very good. You can see here some related topics. Let's dry desert and see if we get any results. No. Okay. As you can see in John, this interest was growing. And also I will show you one other free website which is called male Patel.com slash Uber suggest. Or if you type Uber suggest in Google it will show you. And let's search for artery. And here you can see how many searches this keyword gets. Some other keyword ideas. But basically this is more for cell. Again. But again, you need to get some ideas in order to find your niece. Yes, you may create a store with a niece that you are passionate with. But this doesn't guarantee any sales. That's why in build differencing, we have created mis rank analyzer. With nice rank analyzer. First of all, you get tons of different nice ideas. And not only nieces, but some nice ideas. So for example, if I type here dog, I can see subunit the breeds. So let's type artery here and see what we get. So we get the sales volume, the monthly sales volume, which is 17, 9,600. And here you can see the suggestion for different product categories. So for example, if you want to list clothing with some arching quote, It is very good and they convert well. But if you want to create phone cases, it's not so good. So even if you've got a general store, you can filter by best star rating. And you can create or download from BOD frenzy, a relative designs and you are ready to go. So you get more than 4 thousand different nice ideas for your print on-demand store. And we also created a nice calendar finder in which you can find more than 4 thousand different events all over the year in order to get tons of the friend nice design ideas. So for example, I can say that Comic-Con is trending with red. And I would list some superheroes, the Celts, or some animate the Celts. And trust me, when I tell you this that no one else gives you more than 4 thousand different events in order to get constantly new ideas for your print on demand shop. So if you don't want to use BOD frenzy, it's okay. You just need to get an idea, type it in Google Trends. See if, if the trend is near 100, the more, the better. And then you can go to Uber, suggest and see the search volume. But I guess with just $25 per month. And if you take your business seriously, you wouldn't hesitate to start your subscription at Build differently. And that's all for now. See you on the next one. 6. Lesson 2 Introduction: Hello and welcome to this second lesson. In this lesson we'll learn everything about Shopify store creation. So we'll start by opening our sub phi account, buying our first domain name, and then creating and modifying our soap. So without any further ado, let's dive into this lesson. 7. Lesson 2-1 Creating Your Shopify Account: Hello. In this video, we'll see how you can open your first sub phi account. Just go to shopify.com and click Start free trial. Then you just need to enter your email and the password. And then we just need to enter our name. Do not overthink about it because we will connect our domain name. So the store name doesn't really matter. It's already taken. And now you just need to tell you stuff about yourself. Again, they don't really matter. It's for sacrifice, internal use. Put your details and basically that's it. You are ready to go. On a next video, we'll see how you can set up correctly your Shopify store. 8. Lesson 2-2 Buying a domain: Hello and welcome back to another video. In this lesson, we'll learn how you can buy your own domain name. And we will use the side, GoDaddy.com for those who don't know what the domain name is, is this URL on top which every website should have. So just type your preferred domain name. It should be relevant to your needs. In this case, it's a relevant to dog and cat lovers. So we'll type something simple. Let's see. So it is available, but it costs $2425, which means that someone else bought it and tries to resell it. Obviously, we want to choose this one. And as you can see here, pause does a parallel.com is available. But I will show you another tool also, which is called name.com, which generates ideas based on the keywords that we provide. So as you can see here, post thus apparel is available. Both are parallel dot psi dot online dot, dot. So but, okay, let's stick with pause. Does a parallel.com. Just need to click Add to Cart? Here it will try to upsell you for two years. So we just need to click one year. Click convenient to cart. Here you also have the option to buy a professional e-mail. So for example, you may have any male like contact up pause. Thus upper L.com instead of data parallel at gmail.com, which doesn't look very professional. So I would highly suggest you buy a professional email. It costs 1.99 per month. It increases the cost of a domain name, but again, it's very crucial for your business. So total cost 35, $0.87 For a year, which is approximately $3 per month. You then just need to click Continue to checkout, pay for it. And then on the next video, I will show you how you can connect this domain name to your own website. 9. Lesson 2-3 Connecting your domain name with Shopify: Hello. In this video, we'll see how you can connect your domain name that you purchase from GoDaddy with your online store. Just head to the menu and click online store. Then public domains. Then connect existing domain. I want connect any domain to the demo shop. But the process is quite straightforward. So click Connect existing domain which we already did. Add your domain name. Click Next, click Connect automatically in the sign-in window, log into Go Daddy, and then click Connect. It. Simple as that. But if you need help, not hesitate to contact us through our closed Facebook group in order to help you connect your domain name. See you on the next one. 10. Lesson 2-4 Getting Familiar With Shopify: Hello, In this video, we'll get a bit familiar with sacrifice dashboard. I've logged in inside a solid that I created last week. So here you can see the Home, which it has many details, but you can ignore them for now. Here is the order section, which it will show you the sales. Here is the product section, which will show you all your products. Of course, we'll discuss on the next video how you add products. Here you can see your customers who bought or who went to check out and didn't purchase. Here you can see the analytics. Here is the Marketing tab, which we will discuss in a later video. Here is the discounts or coupons, which again we'll discuss on a later video. Here is the apps section which we connect different apps like printing providers or Facebook application and few other stuff. And here on sales funnel is where the magic happens. Here we modify our online store, which again we'll discuss on a later window. I should mention about the Settings tab. Here is the General Settings tab in which you can change your store currency. The standard formats focus on general settings, focus on shipping and delivery, on payments and on the plan. So payment is where we enable our payment providers, which we'll discuss later. Shipping and delivery, setup, our ceiling rates, et cetera. And the plan, which now you will see that you are on a trial. But after 14 days, you will need to choose a plan, which basically, we always choose the basic Shopify plan as we don't need advanced stuff in the beginning. So that's all for now. It was just an introduction for sacrifice dashboard will discuss everything in detail on later lessons. And I will see you on the next one. 11. Lesson 2-5 Choosing Your Theme: Hello and welcome back. So in this video we'll discuss about things. The thing is the look and feel of your website, of your online store. If you click share online store and thins, you will get redirected in this page. So let's see how our website looks already without any modification. And let's discuss about some sections in order for you to understand once we modify them. So here is our logo, here is the amino, here is a slider. Here. It can't be an image with text. Again here you can put some collections or some categories. Here out of there is, there is one collection which it showcases some products. At the end, a slider testimonial. And here for images with they can become link to a category of products. And lastly, here is the footer. In this course, we will discuss and modify only three themes. So basically the beauty, the default is very fast and you don't need to invest a lot of money on m paid theme. Of course, I will show you this website. It is called FEM forest.net. And you go here and search for Shopify. And here you can find different things more advanced in case you need to purchase and modify a paid theme. But I wouldn't suggested in the beginning. As you don't need to invest a lot of money on your theme. And the main reason is once we start the advertisement, we will redirect the customer to a specific product. And from there, if he wants to purchase more, he will just go on menu and search for other products. You really don't need to invest a lot of money on themes. But also I will show you one of my stores. And as you can see here, it has the notification section. The main knew, the slide. There are some banners. And if you click on a product, it basically has different sections. But as I said, you don't need to invest money on things in the beginning. That's all for now. Lesson 2-6 Creating Your Logo: Hello and welcome back. In this window, we will see how we can create our own logo. I know a lot of people that are struggling to find, let's say, a perfect logo. And they paid different designers, or they use different tools. But at the end of the day, the simplest logo is the best logo. Nike Reebok. All these brands have a very simple topography login with their customers. Remember it forever. So let's start with free resources. And then I will show you some paid resources. Go to canva.com and type logo. From here, click Free and see a logo that it's suitable for your needs. You can ignore these elements. Has we are going to delete them. Just focus only on the font. I like this one. Let's start by deleting elements and start typing our domain. Make it smaller. Perfect. Awesome. So from my perspective, as a designer, logo looks perfect. So don't overthink about in the beginning. You can go here on elements. Drag-and-drop an element. I like it. Simple but effective. From here you can click download. But as a free version of Canva.com, you cannot choose a transparent background, but I will show you right now a trick in order to remove the background. Click Download and just go to photo pit.com. From here, drag and drop your design. Click this magic wand. Click on the whitespace and press Delete. Now it removes the background. You need to zoom in in order to see some final details. So in order to zoom in, press Control or Command last Mach 2 times, then again, choose the Magic Wand. Press on the whitespaces. Here you've seen smoke perfect. So we need to delete the whitespace inside the Earth. Awesome. And from here you just need to click File, Export task benzene, and you are ready to go. I will also show you some resources. So go on Fiverr.com, search for logo. And from here there are different designers. There are pretty expensive. Theoretically, should be $5. But as beside, grew up, They put more and more expensive services. And if you decide to go through Fiverr, keep an eye for keep them fees. Because sometimes they don't even give you the source file and they need you to upgrade to premium in order to give you the source file. This is one resource to another resource is place.net. Here you need to pay monthly subscription of $16. And you just type, let's say login. You click Share, logo and logo maker. Enter the text you want, choose your industry. And from here it generates some logos for you. And the last solution is our project, if you will, to pod thus frenzy.com and click done for you. You just need to send us a message. And I will see you on the next one. 13. Lesson 2-7 Setting Up Payment Processors: Hello. In this video, we'll see how you can set up your payment provider in order to accept payments. Ignore them into your soap. So just go to Settings and click General Field, the store address, all the days here, and then go back to settings. And click payments. Here. If you live in the United States, Canada, Australia, or the United Kingdom, and many other countries, you will be able to accept payments through Shopify payments. It will tell you to connect, simplify payments connected to your bank account. And then you are ready to accept payments. If not, like me when I'm in Greece and I don't have Shopify Payments, I can set up a file. Here. It will have a button that says Connect PayPal. Once you click this button, it will redirect you to your PayPal, add your e-mail address, password. And basically we'll also ask you for your boundary, click Connect, and that's it. You will see this window. It will tell you that the transaction fees 2% and you are ready to accept payments. I have also set up stripe, but in some countries it's not supported. And I will see you on the next one. 14. Lesson 2-8 Theme Editing Part 1: Hello and welcome back. I wish you feel energized because we are diving into the good stuff. We're going to learn how you can modify and edit your theme. So without any further ado, go here and click themes, and then click customize. This will be a quite long wisdom. As I want you to understand the process from a to Z. You will be ready to create your store perfectly. In the beginning, the first thing that we need to do is to upload our logo. So here you can see the homepage and you can see the different sections. So for example, head there is this one, as we said, image, which text is this, and so on. So if you need to modify. The third section, is this one, image with text. It tells you if you need to modify the testimonials, which are which is the section, you just need to click on it. Let's start with our logo, the logo that we created before. And I will show you a small trick. So you click on header. You will see here a logo image, and then it tells you to select an image. If we tried to put this logo with so much big empty space, the logo will appear small because it tries to fill the empty space here. So we just need to crop our logo. You just need to go here. I love I am G.com slash crop image and upload our logo. And you need to crop it. In this process. I wanted to give you some resources. Because I know a lot of people have many questions about modifying designs, modifying their logo. So I always try to give you some free resources about everything. And from here, you just need to click Crop Image. Download crop demands. Go back. And as you can see, it looks way better. But we should increase here a bit the logo width. And now it looks awesome. And then the next section is this one. Here, the slider with soap, If I mentioned image with text, is one of the most important elements of the site because this section is the first thing our customer sees. So just go back and click in months with text overlay. You need to find a picture with these dimensions, approximately one hundred, nine hundred and twenty by one hundred, ten hundred and any API. So you can just go on Canva.com and search for Facebook covers. I found this trick in order for you to understand approximately, approximately their dimensions. And let's search for dog out of curiosity. Again. Here we need to choose three. Here we can delete. Click Download. I would say just take bag. Bg. As we need on our images smaller side. In order for our website to be faster. And from here we just need to select the image. And as you can see, it looks pretty awesome. Now, I will give you another free resource. This website is called Pexels.com. And these images can be used for free. They don't have any copyright. And also, you can search for this website, unsplash.com, which again it has free images. And you just need to go here and change the text. We need to press Save chain. Now, if you don't want a section, for example, I don't want this section in the beginning. I can just click on the eye. Here. What I would do, which is the next section, is I would put some categories that I want to showcase on my website. So for example, I can put here apparel or I can put here dog tags. You just need to click here. Tends the mud, change the text. Simple as that. Now here the featured collection will showcase a category of products that we want to show. So what I normally do is put a featured collection with eight products for on its row. And then what I like to do is click Add section. Click again featured collection. Put five products, put one row, and then drag and drop it. From here under this featured collection again. So for example, here it will show the apparel, and here it will show some other products for logs. Again, here, a slider. Choose any image that you like. And I also don't like here the three images, the gallery, so I will hide it. So here is the logo, the Meno, which I will show you in the next video, how you can edit it. Slider image with text overlay. Here, three main categories of your products. Featured collection with products. Which one? We start adding products. You will be able to see them here. Another featured collection and other slider, some reviews and testimonial. And the footer. From my perspective, this website is perfect with only 123456 sections. It is symbol. But your customers don't need to see over complicated websites. So that's all for now. I will see you on the next one. 15. Lesson 2-9 Theme Editing Part 2: In this video, we'll see how we can make some other minor edits in order for you to be able to modify each element of your website. If you go here and click Theme Settings. From here, you can change the color of your website. But as I said, the colors look perfect, so you don't need to make any modification. Hearing topography, you can change the fonts. I again, this font looks perfect. Here you can modify. You're a favicon. The favicon is this little icon. You can even put your logo here. And basically that's it. And if you want to change the currency of your website, you just need to go back, click Settings and go to general settings. And here you can change your store currency. So if you're planning to sell mostly in US, you just need to put it in US dollars. That's all for now. In this video we will discuss about pages. So a page can be Contact Us page, or it could be an About Us page. So click here on online store and go on pages. You just need to click at the end. The first thing you will need to do is to create a Contact Us page. So on title, type Contact. And here you will need to click on theme template contact, and limit as it is, click Save. Designs and marketing are the main pillars of your print on-demand business. You need to understand this. You may have very good designs, but not be seen by the right audience or vice versa. To have a very good marketing. But your designs look bad and they are not attractive to your customer. So in this video, we'll see what makes a design great. Most important is that the game design should target on your customer's emotions. Grid designs bring strong emotions like joy and inspiration on passion, excitement, et cetera. They don't just deliver a simple message with your customer, sees it on an ad and ignore it, okay, it needs to bring strong emotions and great design should look Modern from a Western perspective. I've seen some very bad designs that look very, very old-fashioned. And then people ask why they don't sell. Of course, because from their perspective, a design may look good. So it's just a background, this is just an image, a transparent image. So let's just tens the color here to the star. You can do this by going here on gradient tool. Right-click and click. The paint bucket tool. Choose from here a color that you like. And just click inside the element. Let's change this MV star to another color and symbolize that you can change the color of some elements. If you want to delete some elements or some text, you just need to go. Here on Eraser tool. It sends the size of the brush. And thus arrays that text. Now, if you want to add a new text, just go here. On Type Tool. Select the area that you want to make that visible. Type a text. I will tell you exactly what you need to do in order to start running your advertisement. The first thing you need to do is go here on accounts and click pages. So we need to create a Facebook page in order for our advertisement to run, but also get interactions with our customers. So just go on Pages and click, Add and then create a new page. If you have already created the page, you can directly add the paint to this business account. The process is quite straight forward. I normally put here brand or product. I put the name, put the category, and then create the page. I want create a page because I already got a lot of pages. But again, as I said, the process is quite straightforward. And on the next video, we'll show you how you can modify your pains in order to be professional. So one thing is that you need to create a Facebook page. The other thing is that you need to create an Instagram account. Again, the process is quite straight forward. And just go on Instagram.com. And from here, create an account. It's one minute processes asks you for your mobile, a username. And that's all. And then from here, you will just need to connect your Instagram account. Because we are going to run advertisement in both Facebook and Instagram. And from here you will need to click, Add and then connect to your Instagram account.
