1. How to Make an Online T Shirt Business Introduction: Hello and welcome to my guide on how to make an online t-shirt business. If you are an entrepreneur, it is likely that you are constantly thinking of new business ideas and industry that many entrepreneurs want to get into is clothing. That is because in the clothing industry, you are displaying your creativity by designing clothing for people to wear. In this class, we're going to go through the process of building an online clothing brand. And by the end, we will have built a fully functional online clothing store. We will start by selecting a niche and picking a brand name. Then we will design a logo for our brand. After that, we will set up a T account Where we use to build our store and sell our products. We will also design a teacher too, which would be the first product on our store. And then finally, we will look at different ways to promote your brand so that you can get your first sale. So now I want you to get a notepad and pen at the ready so that you are able to start planning your T-Shirt business. That's all for the intro. Sorry, let's dive straight into it. 2. Online T Shirt Business Niche: Before thinking of a brand name or designing a logo, you need to pick out a niche for your clothing brand. So that is exactly what we are going to be doing in this video. In business terms, a niche is a specific area or segments within a larger industry. Usually a niche is a refined version of a large markets, which is narrowed down so that you can focus in on a specific area in your industry. To give you an example, let's take a look at the clothing industry. The clothing industry is absolutely massive, so it is near on impossible to be at the top of the market if you are selling a generic cloves. However, if you narrow down your market, let's say we focus on travel and have a simplistic design to our products. Our niche is now simplistic travel where now we have a much smaller target markets, which means we can focus more on who our potential customers are and dominate this niche markets. Some of the common factors which are used to define a niche markets include style, geographical area, quality, demographic, cocci, and finally, occasion. You want to think of things like this that will help you to make you stand out from the crowd to think of a good niche, I suggest writing down some of your hobbies and then ideas will start rushing to your brain. In my experience, it also helps to draw out a spider diagram or a mindmap to think of more ideas. As you can see, this is the mind-map which I created to find a niche for my clothing store. I simply started writing down a few of my hobbies and then I started writing down some specific things within each of those hobbies. Just take your time and don't rush when you are selecting your niche. You don't really want to sell clothing that you would not buy yourself. So picking the right niche is absolutely crucial. Then you could narrow down your niche Fava. For example, if you want to make sport related t-shirts, you can narrow it down FIFA and make t-shirts with sporting quotes. This will allow you to build a loyal audience around your brand because you are creating and selling something specific. Being more specific with your niche will also help you to easily think of new design ideas for your products. In this case, you would simply need to search for famous quotes from sporting legends. And you could add them to your T-Shirts or on any other products that you decide to sell. Of course, you don't have to use quotes or design sports-related clothing. This is just an example. Your niche is completely up to you. For microwaving store. The niche that I will be picking is city skyline t-shirts. So hopefully that gives you some inspiration. You can see how specific shades, because I have gone from T-Shirts to geographical teach ads. They narrowed it down even further to city skyline T-Shirts. So now we need to do is start planning out your niche. That is all for this video. I hope you enjoyed it and I will see you in the next one once again, thanks and goodbye. 3. Brand Name: Now that we have picked our niche, we need to think of a brand name. There are many ways that you can do this, but there are two main things that I like to do. Have a brainstorming session or alternatively use a brand name generator. There is also a third option and that is to use both of these techniques together. So to have a brainstorming session, what you need to do is start by writing down words which are related to your niche and see if any brand name ideas come to your head. If you can't think of anything, enter some of the words that are related to your niche into a brand name generator. And see what I did is it generates, I like to use namely x to generate brand names for my projects. So that's what we will be using. First, enter a couple of keywords into the toll. I'm going to enter city's skyline T-Shirts. And of course, click Generate, then pick a desirable brand name length. You have three options here. However, I'm going to select both short and medium. And finally, what you need to do is select a brand name style. Now I suggest having a look at each of these different name styles. And of course, selecting the y and that you like the look of the most. I'm going to pick the multiple words option and then I'll click Generate. Now namely x will generate loads of possible name ideas for your brand. Take some time to look at them and then write down the ones that you like the most. It's important to take note of a few things when considering your brand name. First of all, your brand name must be available as a username on any social media platforms that you want to use. To instantly check the username availability on all social platforms at once. I suggest using 80 code name check or you need to do is enter in your brand name. And it will instantly show you which platforms your username is available on, and which platforms your username is not available on as well. You also need to make sure that your brand name is available as a domain name. So this will be your website address. And finally, you need to think about whether your brand name is something that people would want to buy from. So for example, you don't want to select a brand name that is irrelevant to your niche because then your target market would not understand what you are trying to sell. So make sure to keep all of these things in mind when deciding on your brand name. For my t-shirt business, I have decided to go with the brand name, skyline shirts. You may not like it, but I like the simplicity of it and how it rolls off the tongue. So there we go. You should now have a brand name for your t-shirt business. That is all for this video, I will see you in the next one once again, thanks and goodbye. 4. Design a Logo for your Brand: In this video, we're going to be using Canva to design a logo. So let's get straight into it. The first thing you need to do is create a new logo project. So we're going to go to logo, click on it, and then create our logo. So we have a client brief for the logo that we are going to be designing. The brand name for the logo that we are designing is book or Java. So we are going to be designing a logo for a book company. So first we are going to pick out a relevant template. And then once we have chosen a template, we're going to design the logo from scratch using some ideas from the template. So let's scroll through these templates to find one which will be relevant for our logo. Patch. Logo could look good, so we will keep those ones in mind. And education logo could also look good. So we may come back to those. And now we've gone through all of the different categories. So we can now see all of the logo templates. We simply need to find one that will stand out. Here we go. I think this one here looks quite nice. So let's click on to this. So we have an icon to the left, the brand name in the center, and a tagline just below it. So we will create a new page. So the background. And then we're going to design a logo for book watcher. With this template in mind, we have the font, the layout, and we also need to remember that there is an icon to the left. We don't need to use that specific icon. I'm already thinking that our book icon would look a lot better. So what we need to do first is the background. So we will close these templates by clicking this little button here to hide them. And then we're going to go to Background. And then we can select a color or an image for our background. Of course, as this is for a logo, we do not want to select an image. So we're going to look at the colors up here at the top. And we want to find one that will look nice. So we could go for a dark color or light color. It is completely up to you. I think this blue here looks quite nice. So here we go. We have our background already. So now that we have a background, we want to add to the text. So we're going to go over here and click on to text. And then go to add a heading and then type in our brand name. The brand we are creating a logo for is book, which are and I'm not sure on the color for the text just yet, but we definitely don't want black. So we're going to get rid of that and make it white. However, we can change it later on. So now we will add the tagline. So we will go to text again and add a sub heading. And the tagline is forever reading books. And I'll select it and move it to below the logo. Here is a right for now. And we'll also change the color to white for this as well, just so that it fits in together. So we can still change the colors and the fonts later on, but we will leave it like this for now. The next thing that we will do is add the icon to our design. If we go back to the template, as you can see, there's an icon to the left of the main logo text. So I think we're going to add a book icon. So to add an icon to your design, go to elements and then simply search for the icon that you want to use. So I'm going to search for a book and then I'll hit enter. Okay, So let's see what we have here. I quite like this one down here. So I will click on today's and I'll make this one white as well. And then I'll make it a bit smaller. This looks good. And I'll center it. And I'll put it just here. And it doesn't really fit in very well. So what we're going to do is resize everything, make it a little bit bigger. Make sure it is centered into the design. Like so. And then we can move it over to the left a little more. That's good. Okay, So here we go. This is what we have created so far. I think that realistically what we need to do now is change the font because these two fonts don't really see each other at all. So we will select the main logo text and then click on to the current font, which will allow us to pick any font that we want to use. Instead, there are loads and loads of different font options. You just need to find the one which would look best for your brand. I personally like to go through them until I find the one which I think will look good for my particular project. Usually when you find a good one, it will stick out and you will instantly know that it is the one you want. So just keep going through them until you find the perfect font. I quite like this one to be honest. Called anonymous Pro, but I think that it might look better about. So let's make it bold by clicking on the icon up here. That's great. I think that that looks really good. So now we need to choose a font for the tagline. I think that it will look good with the same font. I just want to make this one boat. So I will select the font here. And we can make the text a bit smaller so that it fits in better. Next to the font, we can edit the text size. So I will change the text size to 18. But I think that it's still needs to be a bit smaller. So let's try 16 now. And there we go. That looks absolutely fantastic. So now what you need to do is reposition it into that looks good. So I'm gonna move it to the left. Like so. Just make sure that it is lined up properly. I quite like this to be honest, but I want it to be the same width as the main text. So I'm going to select it again. And then I'll click onto spacing up here. And then I am going to slightly increase the letter spacing. There we go. That could be good. So then we'll realign it. So there we go, the text is sorted. Now we're going to move the icon a bit more. Just make sure that it's centered. Move it all in together. I think it should go up a little bit more. There we go. That looks nice. And then select everything and make it a bit bigger. And make sure that it's centered once again. And here we go. I think this looks great now. So we have a few different elements. We have the main text, and then we have the subheading or the tagline. And then on the left of the design we have the book icon. I think this looks absolutely fantastic. So once you have finished designing your logo, the last thing you need to do is export it. So you want to go to Download at the top right, select the page that you want to export. And then if you have a pro camera accounts, you have a few more options. First, you can change the size of your design. The second option allows you to export your design with a transparent background. Bear in mind that this only works if you export as a PNG. And the third and final option allows you to compress the file, which lowers the quality, but it also makes it take up less storage space. However, I am going to leave it as. And then finally I'll click download and then choose where you want to download your photo and then name your file. I'm going to leave it as it is. And then click Save. And then we go, we have now successfully exported our logo design. So let's click on this to open up. So this is what we have just created. I think it looks absolutely wonderful. So now you should know how to design and download a logo within Canva. That is all for this video. I hope you enjoyed it. T-Shirt Store Platforms: Once the branding is sorted, we need to pick a platform to build a store on. Now you could build your story using WordPress, Shopify, or another e-commerce platform. But I suggest using a platform that is specifically for building a t-shirt store. There are many platforms like this, but here are my top three. Teams will spread shot and T's bring. They all have good and bad points. But my favorite is T male to female is easy to use and they sought all of the stock printing, Delivery, transactions and customer service for you. So what we need to do is design your clothing and creates your product pages, and they will do pretty much everything else for you. Here are some of the points to using Gmail. They have a high commission. You can customize your store. They have amazing print quality on t-shirts and the other clothing items. And they use organic cotton and plastic packaging. So it is better for the environment. It's important to note that with these t-shirts, door platforms, you don't have to hold any stock or print the tee-shirts that you sell. These t-shirts, door platforms are also known as print on demand. As they print, the teacher is whenever one of your customers places an order on your store. This makes the whole process of starting an online t-shirt business much easier and faster. Of course, you don't need to use Timo. You can use the platform of your choice, but to e-mail is the platform that I am going to be using. So that's all for this video. Hope you enjoyed it and I will see you in the next one. 6. Set Up Teemill Account: Welcome back. So we're now going to start using t mill. In this video, we are going to be setting up a T account. So that will be ready to build our store and create a fast products. So like I said before, any of that, we will create our account. So simply go to t.com and then click the green Get Started button. Now you need to give your store a name. A couple of videos ago we decided on a brand name. And that is the name that we'll be using for the store name. So mine is skyline shot, so I'm going to be typing that in right here. And of course, you simply need to enter your own store name. And then once you've done that, click Next. Now that our store name is sorted, we need to create a login. So I'm just going to enter in my email address and I'm going to enter a password as well. Now it's important to note that these will be the login details for the back-end of your t-shirt store. So make sure that you remember which email address you used and of course your password too. So I'm just going to enter in mind right now. And now that I have done that, I'm going to click Next. Okay, So I look in details have been sorted. Now we need to select what sort of brand our store is going to be. So we have already selected a niche. So if you type in your name, it should come up. So for example, if my skyline, I could enter something like travel. And then I will simply click onto this one right here. There we go. So now it is creating our count. First of all, I need to verify my e-mail address. So I need to go to my e-mails and click onto the length that they have sent me. You won't see on your screen, but I am clicking the link in my email right now. And as soon as I click it, as you can see, it says we will take you to your dashboard once you have verified your email address. So if I click it right now, There we go. It has successfully taken me to my dashboard. So here we have the terms and conditions for female. You should probably read them, but it would take you a few minutes. So take some time just to read these. And then once you have done that, click, agree and continue. And there we go. So we have created our counts and we are now into our dashboard. Next, we will need to build our store and start creating some products as well. However, for now this is the dashboard. As you can see down here. My website is currently set to private because there'll be no content on as its only just been created. So there's no point of it being public just yet. However, once I'm ready to publish my website, I can make it public by going onto settings down here and then changing the settings to publish it to make sure that it's public. However, we don't need to do that just yet. So on your dashboard you have some different tabs on the left over here, we have the option to upgrade to pro. However, I would not be doing that right now. Then we have our dashboard, products, websites, Dr. Academy, plugins, samples, help, and settings. I'm not going to be going any more in depth into this right now, as we're doing in this video is creating our count. And we have now done that successfully. So there we go. That is all for this video. I will see you in the next one once again, thanks and goodbye. 7. Create your First Product: Welcome back. So now that we have created our account, team e-mail will basically give us a step-by-step process to building and completing online t-shirt store. So as you can see, if I scroll down from the dashboard just here, we've completed the first step, which is to sign up. And the second step is to create your first product. So that is what we are going to be doing in this video. Now to create your first product from your dashboard, you can either collect, let's go on this slider up here, or you can click onto this step down here, and it will open the page to create your first product. Alternatively, you could even go to the products tab over here. And from that page, click, Create a new product. To keep it simple, I'm just going to click, let's go on this homepage. And here we go. So this is the interface that you'll be using to create your own products. So it's a three-step process. First of all, you need to select the type of product that you want to create. If I scroll down, you can see that first we have organic cotton, then we have recycled tie dye, sweaters, more sweaters, hoodies, baseball shots, and much, much more. Then we have women's clothing, kids clothing. And there is a for more as well. So these are things like canvases and other stuff like that. For my first product, I'm simply going to design a nice simple tee shot. So I'm going to click on to, I think this one here. I quite like this color. And then I'm going to click onto the Design tab. This is why we will be adding the design to what to shut. So at the moment, as you can see, it is a completely blank t-shirt. So that's not really going to do very well on your store because there is no reason for someone to buy it. So what you want to do is either create your InDesign and upload it to e-mail, or alternatively, you could use one of them, many free to use designs. Designs are pre-made and they are completely free to use. So if you want to design completely Custom T-Shirts, you can design them outside of TMAO and upload your designs by clicking the Upload button. You could hire a designer or you could use a platform, for example, Canva, and then upload them into T mil. Or you could just use one of their pre-made designs, which you can see right here. So MIT shot store is called skyline charts because I want to create shots with city skylines on them. So to find the relevant pre-made designs, I could either type in a skyline or a location, for example, London or New York. Wherever in the world there are amazing skylines that would look good on patients. However, they don't have pre-made designs for everything. So I could type in Skyline and nothing could come up. If that is the case for you, you will have to create your designs outside of TMAO and then upload them. But in this example, I'm just going to find a pre-made design, add it to my product, and show you how to create your fast product. We have some different suggestions along this line just here. So I'm actually going to click on the skyline to see if any designs come up. And we do sorts of have some, I quite like this one here. So I'll click onto it. And there we go. So we have added the design to Artesia it. So you can click on to it and drag it to move it wherever you want it to be within the tee shot. Now it's important to note that these dotted lines that you can see around the graphic are the guidelines that you have to follow when creating your T-Shirts. So if I put it outside of that line, none of that part of the design will be visible, so you need to have it all within the dotted lines. I can also make it smaller by using this white dots. As you can see, the image is much smaller now, but I think it needs to be quite a lot bigger than that. And then centered. And there we go. So that is quite a cool looking t-shirt. So we have added a pre-made designed to shut. Now we can also add some text by clicking on the Text icon right here. And all you need to do is simply type in some texts. Then select your alignment. You can align it to the left, to the middle, or to the right. You can make it bold and italic, and you can also select a color. Then there are also some advanced options for your texts. So for example, you have spacing, line-height, background options, outlines, gradients, shadows, and so much more. I'm going to leave all of this out, so I'll close the Advanced Options tab. And then finally, you can simply move the text around just like you would with the image. And also make it bigger and smaller as well. Now I don't actually want this text in here, so I'm going to click onto it and click the late. And there we go. So you should now know how to add text. And designs to your tee shots. Once you have done that, the final step is to click the save button on the right over here. And this is where you would need to create a product name. At a product description. Select a collection for your product, add some images, add multiple color options. And finally click the Save button to save your product. Now for the product name, I'm simply going to type in test product. And for the description rather than writing one, I'm going to write one for me. So I'll click this button just here. And there we go. So we instantly return a description for me. Now I do recommend reading the description that it generates before publishing your product. But for now I'm just going to leave it. So next we need to select a collection. I have not created a collection yet, so I will add this to the pre-existing collection, which is code new. And after that we have the pricing for the TCJA it. Now if you have a free to e-mail accounts, you won't actually be able to change the pricing. So you have to leave it as default. But if you become a premium team member, you'll be able to set your own custom pricing. You'll be able to create even more variations of products. And there were many more benefits in that as well. However, I only recommend using female Pro once you start getting a few silos. So next we need to add some images. You can either upload a photo or click the photo button. I'm going to use the option. And it is going to automatically generate a photo of somebody wearing your shots, which is an awesome feature. So I'll click onto this one right here. There we go. That's great. I'll click Save. And we have an image for our product. How easy was that? It's absolutely brilliant. And then you can add multiple color options as well. So if I click this button here, I can create a blue version and I'll create a yellow one as well. And there we go. So now all we need to do is click save. And there we go. So you have successfully created your first product. If I now go over to the products tab just here, we can say the product that we have just created. So I'll click on to that and how you can make changes to your product. So I could add a new product name, I could change the description, add some more images, view the product by it, duplicates it, share it to social media. And there are so many more options over here as well. All I'm going to do is click the view button to view the product page. And here we've got the product now has its own page on our website. So we can have a look at the images for the products. A customer can select the size and also the color of the shots that they want to buy. And then they can simply add it to the back. So if I click feedback, you can see the product in the baskets and they can simply go to the checkout and make a purchase. So that is how easy it is to create your first product using e-mail. So now what we need to do is create product collections. These are basically product categories and then make it easy for users to navigate through your store. And they also help to improve your site's SEO. So in this video, we will create some product collections. In between videos, I have created some more products because there is no point of me making a video showing the process of creating every single product, as it will be a waste of your time. I have also built the first few collections so that you can see what they look like and how easy it is to edit them. So if I head on over to the products page just here, I now have 16 products on my store, eight digits and a. Today's, as you can see, we now have many different skyline designs on our products. These designs were created outside of t mill and then they were uploaded and added onto each of the products. In this video, we're going to create a collection for the holidays. And we will also create collections for each of the different skyline designs. So now let's go to the collections page to get started. From a, you can see the collections that I have already created. We have the T-Shirts collection, the London skyline collection, and the new product's collection, which is the default collection which is created when you create your first product. Sorry if I click onto the T-Shirts collection right now, you can say that I have already added, all of the teacher adds to this collection. On the right, you can give the collection name. And below that you can give it a description as well for this connection and for all of the others as well. I use this button here to make the II writes a collection description for me. Then as you can see, we have a main collection image. If I click on to that, we can pick a new image for this collection. So this is the tissue that collection. So if I type in PE shot, we will say loads of different images that we can use. So if I scroll through them, say for example, I wanted to pick this one here, I would simply click onto it and then resize it. I think it looks good about here. And then to save it, simply click the Save button. And there we go. That is how easy it is to change the collection image. So now that it's saved the collection and click the Save button down here. It will then ask you if you want to add this connection to your site's menu. But for now we will leave it. So just click back onto the Manage collections button and it will take us back to the collections page. So now we'll create a collection for all of the hoodies on our store. To do that, simply click Add new collection just here. And then the first thing we're going to do is name the collection hoodies. And we also need to give the collection a description. So I'm going to click this button down here and the AI will write one for me. There we go. That is perfect. And now what we can do is add a collection image. I'm simply going to type it in her day. And then I'll select the image which I wanted to use for this collection. So I quite like this one down here. So I'll click onto it. And I'll move the image slightly to resize it. And click Save. And then we go. So we have edit a collection name, a collection description, and a collection image as well. So now what we need to do is add all of the hoodie products to the Saudis connection. Sorry, I'll start by adding the first product, by clicking the Add Product button. And remember we want all of the HEDIS and none of the day shots. So I click on to the first study so that the image that you want to display in the collection. And there we go. So that's the first one done. And I'll do that for all of the other products as well. Remember, this is the hoodie collection, so we only want the hoodie products. I'll just go through adding all of the holidays. Next we have Rome, Paris. And finally, we need to add the London city skyline as well. There we go. So we have added every single hoodie products. That should be eight of them. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Yep, that's perfect. We have the collection image, name, and description. So now all we need to do is save this collection so that it is added to our store. So click the Save button right here. And no, we do not want to go to the menu editor. We want to go back to the collections page. So I'll click on to that right here. And there we go. We have successfully created a collection for all of the hoodie products on my store. So now we're going to create a collection for each skyline. I have already created the London skyline collection, as you can see right here. So we just need to create the other seven collections. Each of the skyline collections will have two products, both a hoodie and a t-shirt. So let's get started by creating the Paris skyline collection. Add new site or name. Paris skyline generates a description. Add a collection image. I'm just going to type in Paris. Here we go. This image here is perfect. And resize the image. There we go. Fantastic. Click Save. And now all we need to do is add each of the Paris skyline products. So start with the hoodie. Here we go. This is the one that we want. Fantastic. And now I will add the t-shirt as well. And I think I will select the gray one. So we have successfully created the Paris skyline collection. Now all we need to do is click Save. And I'll click Manage collections to go back to the collections page. And as you can see, the Paris skyline collection has been created successfully. So now I'll go ahead and create collections for all of the other skylines. And there we go. We have a collection for each skyline and collections for both t-shirts and hoodies as well. This will make it much easier for visitors to find the product that they are looking for. And it will also improve the SEO for your website. So that is how you create collections for your team will store. As you can see, we have Sydney, Rome, New York, Amsterdam, Berlin, Toronto, Paris, and London. Build a Store On Teemill: Now that we have created some products and put them into collections, we need to build our store. This includes uploading our logo, creating a menu, editing the fame, and finally building some pages for our store as well. So let's get straight into it. In order to start building the store, we need to go over to the website tab from our dashboard. And then from here, the first thing that we're going to do is either upload or create a logo. So I'm going to click onto the logo option just here. And as you can see, I have already created a logo. Now if you have already designed a logo, you can upload it by clicking on the upload button. Alternatively, you can use the T-Mobile logo creator by clicking on the help me make a logo button. Then from Hey, you can select the font you want to use, the color that you want your logo to obey the text for your logo. And you have some advanced options as well. So you can add a border and you can also add a background color as well. Now, I don't want a background and I don't want a border. And I am happy with how my logo looks. But in order to design a logo from within Teams, you want to look all the different fonts which are available, and then select the one you like. Then add the color that you want to use for your logo. And of course, type in your brand name for the logo text. And once you're happy with how your logo looks, click Done. And then of course you want to click Save, to save it as well. So there we go. That is how easy it is to create your logo. Now we're going to go back to the website tab. And we're going to build a menu for our store. So we're going to go to the menu page. So to start creating a menu, you simply need to click onto this button here. And first of all, we want to decide where each menu item will go to. So when you click onto the menu item, which page do you want it to take the user to choose where the menu item will take the user. You want to click onto this link option down here. And you can either select a product, a collection, a page, or an action. Now for this, I'm going to select collection. And I'm going to go to the London skyline collection. And I'm simply going to name the menu item London. Then we go and then I'll click Done. And as you can see, we have our first menu item created. Now for my website, I'm going to create a menu item for each of the different skylines that I have created products for. So next I will add New York. I'll type in New York. And I will link to the New York collection. There it is. And I'll click Done and continue and add the next one. I'll go to the link first, this time and collection. And I will go to Berlin. And I'll type in Berlin. And click Done. And for this next one, I'm going to add Amsterdam. And then I will add the link for that collection as well. And now I'm going to add Paris and Sydney. Next we have ROM. There we go. And finally Toronto. Fantastic. So now I have added a menu item for each of the cities which I have products created for. So now I will just click Save, and my menu has been saved successfully. So I'll go back to the website tab again. So we have created our menu. We have added a logo. And now what we're going to do is go to the fame settings just here. So here you can add a primary color for your website, a color for your header, the primary font for your website, and the header font as well. Now this is all down to you because you have a certain style for your own install. I have already selected my primary color, my header color, and both by primary and hedge funds as well. But you can easily click on to the colors and select the colors that you want to use. And you can also easily find the fonts that you want to use for your websites as well. And the final thing that you want to do on this page is upload a favicon. Now, I just designed this one on Canva, and I used the same font which I used for my logo. So I simply created a 500 pixels by 500 pixel image, added a simple background color and added the letter S in the font of my logo, and then downloaded it and uploaded it right here. You can do the same for your website's favicon as well. And once you're done, simply click save at the bottom down here. And finally, you need to go back to the website tab, but one small. And all we need to do now is build our homepage for our websites. So if you don't have a homepage already created, like I do here, or you will need to do is click the Add Page button just here. And that is how you create your first page for your website. Now this homepage is a blank page, so I'll click onto it right now. And as you can say, we have the logo at the top and my menu up here as well. And I think that all looks absolutely fantastic. So now what we need to do is design this homepage. If you are using table to create your stall. The web page builder is a block based system which makes it really easy to build your webpages. So we'll be able to build this web page in just a matter of minutes. Another thing that you'll need to do for all of your pages, for your website is add a page title and also a page description. It's important that you do this because this is what will appear in the search results for your page. So if I click on to the Advanced tab, just here, you'll be able to see a preview in Google and a social share preview as well. So this will appear on Twitter, Facebook, and so on. So it's important that you write a good page title and also a good description as well. So if I start typing in this description, as you can say, it shows up in the Google preview. I'll get rid of that for now. So for the page title, I'm just going to add the word Homepage and add a dash. So we have Homepage, dash, skyline shots. And I have already written a page description. Sorry, I'm simply going to paste it in here right now. And there we go. We're a clothing brand that designs skyline t-shirts and hoodies for people that love city skylines. So now if you have another look at the Google preview, this is how it will look like in Google's search results. So that is much better. So now what we're going to do is build our homepage. Sorry, first, simply click Add a new block. And as you can see, we have all of these different blocks that we can add to the page. I'm going to start by adding a slideshow. And I'll click Add Slide throughout our first slide to this slide jug. And we need to find an image. So I'm going to click on to London right here. And I'm going to add an image of the London skyline. This first one here looks nice. So I'll resize that to about here. I think that looks good. And click Save. Sorry, I'm just going to add a title for the slide right now. Show up our London skyline range. And I'm going to remove the subtitle. There we go. And for the text, for the first button, I'm simply going to type in shop now. And I'll make it so that the button links to the London skyline collection. So I'll click just here and I'll go to Collection. And I'll click onto the London skyline collection just here. There we go. So now I'll click Done. And we have added our first slide. Now I'm going to add a second slide to this slideshow as well. And I will type in Paris. Here we go. This one looks nice. And I will resize it. And I'll do a similar title for this one. And I will remove the subtitle for this one as well. And I will do the same button for this one as well. Linking to the Paris range, then rotates and I'll click Done. And for button style, I will go for primary. And we want it to be a slideshow as well. So that regard now I'll click Done. And then we go. So we have edited the first block to our homepage. Now I'll go down here and click, add a new block. And I will add some text. And then as you can see, you can customize the width of your block. So we have coats off half of, oh, I want this text to be the full width of the page. So I will leave for selected. And I'm simply going to type it in and take a look at our newest products. And I'll select the text and use the header to make the text bigger. And I'll click Done right here. It's currently aligned to the left. So I'm going to click on it again, select the text again, and center it and clicked on. Now what we will do is add some products below this headline. And this will basically be a display for some of our newest products. So I'll click add a new block right now. And I will go to the products block. And I will select this first product here. And I'll select this image because I think that one looks quite good. And then we have the product title which you can edit the link to the product. You have the option to add a description, but I'm going to leave that. And then we have some advanced options which I'm going to leave and some internal options which I'm also going to leave. And I'm going to set this as a fad. So this means we'll be able to fit free products next to each other. So I'll click Done, and then I'll click Add Content again and go to product. And I think I'll select the London city skyline hoodie. And the gray one. I think it looks good. And once again, all of the settings are good already. So I'll click Done. And finally I'll add one more products. Let's add this one here. And I will select the image of the white tee shot. And click Done again. And there we go. So we have created a section with some of our newest products. I'll click Save just to make sure that our changes have been saved. There we go. Okay, so now I have a couple more ideas for blocks that we can add to the homepage. So first of all, I'll click add a new block down here again. And for the first block, I'm going to do a 5050 split with an image on the left and some paragraphs of text on the right. So first I will add the image. And I'm just going to type in Skyline and find the skyline image that looks quite cold. I think this one over here is very nice. So I'll click on to that and click Save. And I don't want it to be the entire image. So I'm going to go to the Advanced option down here and make it so that the height is that too short. Then at the top over here, I'm going to set it as half and clicked on the bottom down here. There we go. Now this image doesn't really fit in, so I'm going to change it for a better one. This one here should be good. Yeah, that looks a lot better. And for the block next to it, I'm going to add some text. And I've already written the text that I want to use, so I'm simply going to paste it in. There we go, and I'll click Done. Okay, So now the text has been added, but it has pushed the image over to the right. Sorry, I'll simply click onto the text and drag it over to the right side of the page. There we go. That's brilliant. So click save again. And finally now I'm just going to display some more products. So I'll go to add a new block and the dynamic products content block. And for the width of the block, I want it to be full. And I'm going to select eight products. There we go, and I'll click Done. That looks absolutely fantastic, although I think it needs a heading like the products up here. So I will just go ahead and add some more text. And our right featured products. I will center it and make it a heading as well. And then I'm going to drag it above this block. There we go. That is absolutely fantastic. So I'll click Save once more. And there we go. So we have successfully built the homepage for our teachers door. Now I'm going to go back over to the dashboard. And what we want to do is make it so that our store is public so that people can start viewing it and buying our products. So to do that, I'm simply going to click on to the Settings tab down here. And I'm going to scroll to the bottom. And where it says More settings, I'm going to click on to make your store private. And if this, which is currently enabled, what you want to do is disable it like minus here. So then you need to update it. And it will remove the password protection for your store. This means anyone can now access your store and purchase products for me. Sorry. Now let's go and view our Stowe. To do that, you can either click on this icon at the top right over here, or you can go back to the website tab and click the Preview button right here. So I'll do that right now. And here we go. This is the t-shirt store that we have built. So we have the slider at the top of the page, and also the logo and the menu as well. And then we have the heading and the free products below it, and the image and the text that we just added. And finally the featured products as well. So I think that this looks absolutely fantastic to preview your product. So you can easily click onto one of your products and have a look at the images for it. You can see the description that we generated, the sizing that is available, the colors, and you can even add it to your back. There we go. So they check out and back function is already set up for you and you don't really need to do anything in order to make it work. Then if you have a look at the menu which we built earlier, for example, I'll click onto Paris. Both of the Paris items appear here. Sorry, before I end this video, let's quickly have a look at the basket. And we can view the checkout system as well. As you can see, it's really simple and easy to access. So there we go. So in this video, I'm going to show you how you can add a block to your team, your website. So this will make it so that you can publish blog posts to your t-shirt store. This will help you to boost your website traffic because there'll be publishing more content that will then be able to rank in search engines. So let's get straight into it. The first thing that you need to do is go to your dashboard and from the click onto the website tab. Now what you want to do is click onto the blogging page. And Oh, you need to do now is simply click Create. And now you can create your first blog post. So on the right you have your blog post headline, metta image and description. And then you can toggle whether or not you want it to be published. So if you are still working on your blog posts, I recommend you turn it off so that it's not published. And when you're ready to publish a toggle the switch and click Save and your blog post will be published. And then on the left over here we have the main headline for the blog post and the text area where you'll be writing the main content for the actual blog post. So I've already written a blog post. I'm going to do is simply paste it in to this right here. There we go. And then I'm going to copy and paste the headline as well. And I'm going to add an image for the Meta image. I'm simply going to type in London. And I think I will click onto this one here. No, I don't like that one, so I'm going to change it. I'll type in London again. And I think we'll try this one here. There we go. That is perfect. So I'll click Save. So as you can see, the blog post I have written is titled top five things to do in London. Now the description has automatically been filled in with the first few lines of content from the blog post. So I'm simply going to remove some until I'm happy with it. It's no secret that London is one of the world's most popular tourist destinations with something for everyone. There we go. That sounds absolutely perfect. So in order to create your first blog post, you need to add a headline, add the content for your blog post. I'm actually going to remove this heading here because we already have the headline at the top, so we don't need it twice. And then we have the meso headline, the Metta image, and the meta-description as well. Then if we have a look at the advanced options, we have the URL for the blog post. I think that is fine how it is. And then if you want to, you can add the blog post to a category. I'm going to create a category called London. And I'll click Save. And I'm simply going to add this blog post to the London category. There we go. Then we have the SEO metadata is the content that will appear in search results pages. So the title for the page and the description as well. And then below that you have a preview of how it looks. So I'm not going to change it because I'm happy with how it looks automatically. So I'm going to leave the old exactly how it says. And then you can also hide the blog post or you can set it to be your featured post. Now I don't want to do either of those things. So I'm going to close the advanced settings. And before I click, save and publish the post, I'm simply going to add an image to each of the sections in the playlist. So I first of all, the view from the shot, I'll make some space and then click onto this image icon here. And I'll click onto the image of the shot. There we go and do the same for the Natural History Museum. We don't need too much spacing below it. So make sure that the spacing is all correct for your blog posts and the Tower of London. You need to spend that just as much time, if not more, promoting your store, then you did building it. So here are four techniques that you can use to promote your online clothing store. Do search engine optimization. One of the most beneficial Store promotion techniques is to optimize your content to appear in search results. If you appear in searches that your potential customers are making, they are much more likely to click onto your products and make a purchase.
