Project Description

Create 5 rapid-fire drawings.

ASSIGNMENT

Create 5 drawings in rapid fire, one for each class prompt. These are my favorite techniques for getting outside your comfort zone and into your most creative, spontaneous mindset. Plus, by drawing quickly, you'll be forced not to overthink your drawing and really get to the heart of your creative line. Remember that there is no “wrong” way to draw. Be playful, experiment, and have fun.

DELIVERABLE

Upload 5 rapid-fire drawings, each completed in under 3 minutes with marker and/or pens. A completed project should include:

  • A drawing you've drawn standing up.
  • A drawing you've drawn with music.
  • A drawing you've drawn while rotating the paper.
  • A drawing you've drawn while blindfolded.
  • A drawing you've drawn while talking aloud.

RESOURCES

  • Download the one-page class resource sheet below for links to materials and notes on each prompt.
