About This Class

In this course, we're going to build a WordPress plugin that displays notifications on the top or bottom of our site. We'll use WordPress hooks, filters, actions, built-in functions, the Settings API, and the Customizer API. This project should take you less than an hour to complete if you already have a WordPress site setup to build it on.

David Wolfpaw

WordPress Developer

I've been a professional web developer for well over a decade, with the focus on WordPress development since 2008. My focus is on helping small businesses, providing ongoing support, and educating users. I help to organize both WordPress Orlando and WordCamp Orlando.

The most important thing to me is helping newcomers get started. I feel like a newcomer all the time, and it is only through the help of patient and understanding teachers that I've accomplished anything at all.
