Are you drawn to Instagram accounts with polish and personality? Do you wish you could really say something with the images you share? Join two accomplished photographers for a deep dive into the world of shareable photography! You’ll begin with a primer on portraits and action shots, then turn the lens on yourself to create self-portraits that tell your unique, personal story. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have thoughtful images that are sure to dazzle friends and fans alike. This workshop is great for all levels. All you need is a camera (a phone camera will work just fine.)
Workshop Timeline
- Milestone 1: First up, in Instagram-Worthy Photography: Shoot, Edit, and Share, a Skillshare Original, you’ll join Instagram phenom Brandon Woelfel for an inside look at what makes his photos shine (and attract over three million followers). Hit the streets for a photoshoot, then head back to the studio to choose and edit your favorites. This class is jam-packed with helpful tips and unexpected hacks for making your shooting, editing, and sharing process easier and more successful. Share your images in the Project Gallery by March 8th.
- Milestone 2: Next, in Self Portraits: Telling Your Unique Story, photographer Tabitha Park brings you into her home life for a cozy class on capturing expressive and personal self-portraits. Tabitha brings lightness and fun to her shoots, and will encourage you to do the same. Share your pro selfies in the Project Gallery by March 22nd.
