Welcome!
Join me in this workshop on paper engineering. You'll learn one mechanism of paper engineering that you'll get to apply to your illustrations.
The project for this workshop is to apply the mechanism you learned on the class to an illustration, a card, or whatever you want. You can follow the structure of the mechanism provided on the class or you can explore further and modify it the way your creativity leads you. The important thing is to have fun and let your creativity explore and create.
Remember, if you upload your projects somewhere other than skillshare use the hashtag #PaperEngineeringClass so I can check them out.
If you need help creating illustrations for your mechanisms you can take my other class Bring Life To Illustrations With Engaging Concepts where you can learn how to come up with interesting results.
I included the template for the mechanism, I recommend to have it open when you watch the video.
The schedule for the workshop goes like this:
On November 20th: Watch videos 1 to 5 and just imagine what you can create for your project.
From November 21th to November 22th: Plan your card or illustration, your topic and the elements you'll need.
From November 23th to November 27th: Create the illustrations you'll need for your project.
From November 28th to November 29th: Create your mechanism.
If you have questions or any thoughts on the class, don't be shy and share them on the Discussions section of the workshop.
Join the workshop and let's have some fun!
