About This Workshop
Join me this March to learn surface pattern design and create 3 focal point patterns in 3 weeks! During this session, you’ll learn everything you need to know about Adobe Illustrator, how to gather inspiration, sketch and illustrate. I’ll walk you through the essential steps of both of my classes: Intro to Surface Pattern Design & Surface Pattern Design 2.0. You’ll learn how to create repeating patterns, and specifically how to create show stopper focal point prints. At the end of this workshop, you’ll be ready to hit the ground running with a start on three separate pattern design collections.
This workshop will teach you the importance of creating a focal point print, how to design one and how the coordinating prints in the rest of the collection should relate to it.
If you want to learn more about how to create main prints, this workshop is for you! Leave with a start on 3 entirely new and different pattern collections. It’s exactly the push you need to finish a body or work, ready to put in your portfolio.
What You’ll Get:
Guided Experience: I will personally guide you through this workshop to help you successfully complete 3 focal point prints.
Feedback: each of you will receive personalized 1-on-1 feedback from me throughout the process.
Ask Me Anything! I’ll be hosting an exclusive LIVE AMA (Ask Me Anything) for workshop students on March 15th at 3:30 EST.
