- Easy Clay Earrings: Learn 3 Styles Using Oven-Bake Clay with Kiley Bennett
Join artist Kiley Bennet for some fun, straight-forward earring making. You’ll learn how to roll and cut your clay, mix colors, create a confetti effect, and master some easy and professional-looking finishing techniques. You’ll need some modeling clay, earring wires, jewelry pliers (or tweezers), and a sharp knife. The rest of the supplies are kitchen items you probably have around the house.
- Making Art with Nature: Frames, Boxes, and Floral Sculptures with Betty-Baines Saum
Join artist Betty-Baines Saum and create frames, boxes, and sculptures with natural materials like wood, bark, pinecones, vines, or any other natural objects that inspire you. You’ll need glue, tape, and a small saw for working with wood.
- Watercolor Wonderland: Paint + Design for the Holidays with Amarilys Henderson
Join artist Amarilys Henderson for some holiday painting and designing! Create greeting cards, gift-wrap, or a frameable piece of art for a loved one. Whatever your skill level, you can find something accessible in this class. Do some beginner painting, or more advanced Photoshop design — the choice is yours.
- Crochet a Plant Pot Cover Using Plastic Bag or T-Shirt Yarn with Kristina Turner
Join crochet designer Kristina Turner and transform plastic bags or old t-shirts into beautiful plant pot covers! This eco-friendly project uses materials you can find around your house. You’ll also need scissors, a 12 mm crochet hook, a large-eyed tapestry needle, and a stitch marker.
- Embroidery on Photographs with 10 Simple Stitches with Peggy Dean
Join artist Peggy Dean for a creative take on hand embroidery, embellishing old photos with eye-catching results! You’ll learn 10 basic embroidery stitches with lots of pro tips and tricks for getting the effects you’re after. You’ll need embroidery thread, a needle, and an old photo to work with.
- Holiday Gifting: Hand-Painted Ornaments with Dylan Mierzwinski
Join illustrator Dylan Mierzwinski for a beginner-friendly ornament-making class! Dylan provides color palettes and designs to work with, or you can come up with your own. You’ll need some blank ceramic bisqueware ornaments and your favorite paints.
- Create a Hand-Carved Stamp from Scratch: Tools and Best Practices with Melissa Lee
Join artist Melissa Lee and make your very own stamps! Give them as gifts or use them for wrapping paper, cards, wall art, or for creating hand-made repeat patterns. You’ll need a pencil, a rubber carving block, something to carve with, an ink pad, and paper.
