- Milestone 1: First up, join Esther Nariyoshi in Surface Pattern Design in Adobe Illustrator: A Complete Introduction. In this comprehensive intro class, Esther walks you through digitizing your paper drawing and turning it into a clean geometric pattern. You’ll learn all the essential tools needed for editing basic shapes, the anatomy of repeating patterns, fun techniques for coloring, and how to export a ready-to-use project file. Share your new pattern in the Project Gallery by September 15th.
- Milestone 2: Next up, practice creating more patterns with Maja Faber in Create a Repeat Pattern With Adobe Illustrator on the iPad. Maja shows you how to use your new design skills to create another repeating pattern on the iPad. You can use the download provided in the class’s Projects & Resources tab to create the same pattern as Maja, or make your own pattern from scratch. Share your new pattern in the Project Gallery by September 24th.
- Milestone 3: Lastly, join Cat Coquillette in Design Top-Selling Product Mockups with Your Art. In this energizing class, Cat shares all her proven strategies to easily create top-selling product mockups from your artwork. You’ll learn how to showcase your artwork in the most professional way possible; entice clients to purchase your designs to use on their products; and effectively share mockups on your website, portfolio, or social media. Share your product mockup in the Project Gallery by October 4th.
