Calling all artists and illustrators! Do you love drawing and sketching but aren’t sure where to go next with your passion? Join this exclusive workshop led by top Illustration teachers Dylan Mierzwinski and Peggy Dean. Over the next two weeks, Dylan & Peggy will help you tackle the most daunting but rewarding part of any art practice: developing your own style. Through four floral-filled classes, exclusive resources from Dylan & Peggy, and a cumulative project assignment, you’ll take your illustration skills to the next level and start developing a unique style all your own, alongside a creative, supportive community.
How It Works

- Get familiar with the project brief here, designed by Dylan & Peggy exclusively for this workshop. This project will be your final step of the workshop - complete and upload it by April 30th, and you’ll be eligible for the grand prizes! Learn about the prizes down below.
- Dylan and Peggy will send you daily reminders and prompts to keep you on track. They’ll also be hosting a live online Q&A on Wednesday, April 25th at 3pm EST / 12pm PST.

Workshop Timeline
- Step 1: Due April 19th. Get started by watching Dylan’s newest class, Leveling Up Your Art Game: The Elements & Principles of Design. You'll learn the theory and fundamentals of illustration so that you have the toolkit you need to start developing your own style.
- Step 2: Due April 23rd. Next up, watch Peggy’s newest class, Find Your Creative Style: An Exploration Through Floral Techniques. Peggy will take you through a handful of different illustration styles to help you get outside your comfort zone and start recognizing your own voice.
- Optional Step: Take Peggy’s Line Drawing: Cactus & Succulent Edition and Dylan’s Illustrating Flowers & Arranging Bouquets in Photoshop. These classes are encouraged for those looking for additional practice and inspiration!
- Step 3: Due April 30th. Put it all together with the cumulative workshop project outlined in the brief here. Through fun exercises and a final capstone, you’ll start to develop and showcase your own unique style. Share your project in any one of the four workshop classes: upload the steps as you go or share it all at once by April 30th!
