A phone, good planning, and some clever lighting tricks will allow you to make something powerful and professional without buying expensive equipment. In this workshop, two scrappy filmmakers walk you through their approaches to cinematic filmmaking on a phone. Great for all levels.

Chrystopher walks you through building your shot list, scouting locations, and using natural light to remove barriers to capturing beautiful shots. Share your creative treatments in the Project Gallery by July 13th.
- Milestone 2: Next up, join cinematographer Zak Mulligan in Cinematography Basics: Introduction to Lighting Techniques. You’ll learn the 7 key elements of lighting: direction, shape, color, intensity, quality, texture, and movement. Then, you’ll use natural light and lights you have around the house to create your own visual haiku. Share your work in the Project Gallery by July 27th.
