Thinking of teaching on Skillshare? Start today! Join this 30-Day Challenge for milestones, prizes, and tons of support as you create your first class. Skillshare classes include just 10-25 minutes of video content that walks students through a specific skill, concept or project, so teaching is a lightweight and easy process.

How It Works
- Follow our August Teach Challenge Calendar and milestones here.
- Sign up for the Teach Challenge by clicking the “Join” button above, and enrolling in our two free classes on teaching and class marketing - Teach an Amazing Skillshare Class and the Marketing Class
- Every few days, we’ll send you’ll an email with instructions and tips on how to complete each one of the class creation milestones.
- Share each of your milestones in the Project Section for feedback.
- Use the Discussions section to ask questions along the way and get help from our Teacher Support team.
- Need extra help? Participate in a live AMA with our Teacher Support team on Thursday, August 18th at 3pm EST.
- Publish your class to Skillshare by Wednesday, August 31st to successfully complete the challenge and collect your bonus! Read more about prize eligibility for the August Teach Challenge here.

Join the Community
- The Discussion section and the Community Board are spaces for you to drop comments and questions and ask for extra support and feedback from the community!
- Your Project within the Project Gallery of Teach an Amazing Skillshare Class is a working space for your Skillshare class! This is where you'll start planning your class and where you'll share your milestones for the challenge. Feel free to also include photos, mood-boards, or any other inspiration along the way. Your project within the class will also be shown in the Projects section up above so that it's easily accessible to everyone else who's joined this Teach Challenge!
- The Class Draft is where you'll input all of your class content once you're all ready to publish your amazing class!
Eligibility and Conditions
*To be eligible for the $200 crafts, culinary, or design bonus, you must make at least 1 referral to Premium Membership by September 15th, 2016 at 11:59pm (if you're unable to make at least 1 referral, you will still be eligible for the $100 new teacher bonus).
