The GIF just had its 30th birthday — a big milestone for a file format! What began as another flash in the digital pan has become a favorite medium for artists of all kinds. From hilarious and whimsical ephemera to tools of serious journalism, GIFs are a pithy, quirky way to communicate ideas. If you’re comfortable making GIFs, the creative possibilities are endless. In this workshop you’ll use Procreate, After Effects, and Photoshop to create GIFs in three different styles. Some familiarity with these tools will be helpful. But in all three classes the teachers walk through the process step-by-step so motivated beginners have nothing to fear!
