Write out a set of words that define your brand and what it stands for.

Group the populated words into three silos of synonyms.

Summarize each of the silos into a word that helps define each silo as a group.

Generate an inspiration board consistent of images that help visualize the prior identified attributes.

Compile a competitive landscape audit board consistent of brands that are in a similar field of work and are inspirational to your brand.

Sketch some logo concepts. Remember to reference the steps above, as they will make this part of the process much simpler.

Digitize the prior developed sketches in illustrator. For simplicities’ sake, keep the number of directions to pursue to three.

Reference the prior developed visualized attributes board while developing a color palette to implement into the digitized sketches.

I chose a monochromatic solution based on data visualization imagery, as well as x-ray scans.

Upon deciding which logo direction to pursue as a final, look at some potential typographic pairings.

Customize the chosen typographic choice to match the creative direction / mood of the logo.

Produce stand-alone, as well as typographically paired versions of the logo in both, positive and negative color-ways.

As a final step, produce a set of single-color logo versions, as some formats have color restrictions.
