I love the color palette you used and how it contrasts with the dark background—well done! You did a fantastic job with the brighter greenish spots on the chameleon's belly and boldening some areas and outlines—it really makes it look 3D and stand out! The textures and details on the chameleon’s face are lovely too. Next time, you could try using wet-in-wet techniques for painting the backgrounds. If you want to try this, cover the area around the subject (in this case, the chameleon) with water. When the water is still wet, apply a dark mix of your chosen color close to the chameleon. You’ll see how the color starts to spread and bloom, which can help you create interesting backgrounds that blend seamlessly into the paper. Great job, and I hope to see more sketches from you!
